Vocational & Technical Skills

 

NAAM in collaboration with Yayasan MySkills aims in the transformation of Youths who are dropouts at secondary school education. These form of effect need to be continued to transform our youths into skilled work-force. In this respect, NAAM is proud to have contributed grants for the trainings of the Youths under the Holistic Training Programme carried out by MySkills.  In our effort to involve Youths in Skills Training Programmes, our dependence on import of foreign workers will eventually be reduced. The certification awarded to these Youths in the Skills Training Programmes will boost their confidence and create opportunity to get employment in the labour market and through this they become useful citizen for the betterment of our society.


 

 


EPU Visit

NAAM has identified Alahil Electrical Training & Consultancy to provide the following training; mechatronics , air conditioning technology and industrial automation. Funds was given to train 300 students. These students completed their training in December 2015. Officer from Economy Planning Unit (EPU) visited the training institution and they were convinced that the skill provided by the training provider is valuable and it will create opportunity for the participants to go into labour market. The initiative of NAAM appreciated by the Government agencies. 

 


Mechatronics Course - Industrial Automation & Air-Condition Circuits

NAAM has identified Tune Skill Vocational Training Sdn.Bhd. to provide training in automotive industry. Funds was given to train 75 students. These students completed their training in december 2015. Officer from Economy Planning Unit (EPU) visited the training institution and they were convinced that the skill provided by the training provider is valuable and it will create opportunity for the participants to go into labour market. The initiative of NAAM appreciated by the Government agencies. 

 


Economic Empowerment - NAAM Skills

NAAM has identified RiverBank Academy Sdn.Bhd. to provide the following trainings; mobile phone, cctv , computer repairing , desktop and social media. Funds was given to train 1000 students. These students completed their training in december 2015. Officer from Economy Planning Unit (EPU) visited the training institution and they were convinced that the skill provided by the training provider is valuable and it will create opportunity for the participants to go into labour market. The initiative of NAAM appreciated by the Government agencies.
